My Friday Frames inspiration this week came right from the mouths of a bride on her wedding day, and a bride to be at her engagement session. I thought what they said was a light bulb moment and really wanted to share with all of you (especially brides to be!)

Not even sure how to put into words how I felt about Tiffany + Jay's wedding. If I could have blogged the entire wedding album I would have but I figured 600+ images would be a LOT of scrolling, so I narrowed it down to this preview. Tiffany and Jay simply rented the Cooksville School house and town square a community hall and made their vision come to life. The dress, the chairs, the colors, the details, everything came together so flawlessly. 

Tiffany and Jay just returned from a dream honeymoon to Ireland, they were married on May 31, 2014. Friday May 9, Summer hustle, day #1- I have a wedding today, an engagement session tomorrow morning and a wedding tomorrow evening, let the games begin!

You know, I have met a lot of brides over the past 6-7 years. There are all types, (luckily I haven't encountered the bridezilla type.) I believe there are certain personality traits that can make a bride even more (naturally) beautiful in photos on her wedding day. I would know right? Care to know my favorite type of bride?

• Not afraid to be Silly
• Happy to be alive

• Chooses her own vendors
• Thinks outside of the box
• In Control but not a bridezilla
• Thinks of her wedding as a wonderful day, not the foundation of her whole life
• Has a leader-mindset
• Has an equally cool + involved groom
• Has a fun wedding party that will let her dress get dirty ;)
• Keeps momzilla in check (if she has one)
• Knows when to do and not to do DIY wedding projects
• Likes: Coffee, road trips, etsy, live music
• Dislikes: tiaras, shotlists, fake flowers, impersonal details.
• Most of all, more excited to be married than anything else.

Jen and Darren, this incredibly sweet couple. I knew them before they dated (The Miller's are great people) , while they dated and then when they got engaged I felt like a high school girl sitting by her Garfield phone unplugging it, plugging it back in...is this thing on?? PLEASE.CALL.ME! and..They did. I could have walked on water that day, I was so excited to work with them and I knew they were right for one another, I knew their wedding would be about them, their family and their friends. I knew Jen would choose a venue that I would want to work at with creative freedom to roam and take in the great outdoors. They far exceeded my expectations. 

Their day was perfection. Jen was a stunning bride, Darren was like a knight in shining armour, they both were gleaming with happiness. The sun was out, the skies were blue, friends and family flocked together and made this day like a fairytale. 

Let's see if the photos can tell the story shall we.... Jen was just stunning, the dress was perfect. Have you seen a more gorgeous wedding party? the pale blush dresses were magical. and the men in dapper gray... The first look....so so special Sept 14th...hands down THE most beautiful day of the year. Seriously perfect for an outdoor wedding. Can't get over the florals by my favorite Wild Apples! A BIG prize to the first person who guesses what song Ryan Miller had choreographed a dance to.... Congrats, hugs, thanks and all the best to the newlyweds!!!
